Be a Good Egg (Cutchogue)

Cutchogue New Suffolk Library, Cutchogue (Ages 10+)

Have you ever wondered why a portion of the beach is fenced off in the spring and summer?  Who those birds are that dive-bomb you? Why certain shorebird species are threatened and endangered?  Or what you can do to help them?  Group for the East End and Audubon New York encourage beachgoers to adopt bird-friendly habits when visiting our local beaches.  Join us to find out how you can take the pledge to “Be A Good Egg” and share the shore with nesting birds.  An update will be given on the Town of Southold’s 2019 shorebird population.
