Full Corn Moon Walk (Cutchogue)

Downs Farm Preserve, Cutchogue

Join us for one of our favorite full moon walks, celebrating the harvest moon.  This month’s full moon is also known as the “Full Corn Moon” and received its name from the Algonquin tribes in eastern North America who knew it as the time when corn was harvested. Throughout this guided one mile walk, you will discover the sights and sounds of the preserve beneath the moonlight. You may have the opportunity to even see or hear an owl! Flashlight or headlamp suggested.

Space is limited so register today. Registration required, please contact Christine Tylee at ctylee@eastendenvironment.org.
