Wastewater Management on Shelter Island

The Group is actively engaged in reviewing Shelter Island Town’s plans for a wastewater management district and sewage treatment works, as well as a new irrigation system proposed at Gardiner’s Bay Country Club. The future protection and sustainable management of the island’s limited and vulnerable water resources are critical issues for every Shelter Islander, and we value the opportunity to work with concerned individuals, organizations, and officials in addressing this enormous responsibility.
