Owl Pellet Dissection & Owl Prowl

Thursday, February 28
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m.

An owl pellet dissection is a great way for learners of all ages to learn about the eating habits and behaviors of our mysterious flighted friends: owls! We will meet at Group for the East End’s office where participants will not only learn about owl prey, but about common Long Island species, behaviors, vocalizations, and habitats. Following our dissection, Group for the East End staff will lead an owl prowl through Downs Farm Preserve (Cutchogue), hoping to hear some of the resident owls.
Space is limited; registration is required. $5 materials fee. For reservations or more information, please contact Taralynn Reynolds at 631-765-6450 ext. 219 or
